Guidelines for Oral Presenters

In order to streamline the process of submitting oral presentations, the MOCA-09 Organizing Committee has arranged for speakers to submit their presentations via the internet in advance of the Assembly.  This Presentation Management System allows speakers’ files to be received electronically, verified, catalogued and assigned to the correct session, time slot and room prior to the start of the Assembly, reducing the time speakers spend uploading material on site.  Personal laptop computers will not be permitted for oral presentations.

Although the use of the Presentation Management System is not mandatory, we strongly recommend that speakers submit their presentation in advance using this tool.  The link to access this system is found below.  Once onsite, all speakers must check into the Speaker Ready Room no less than 24 hours prior to their presentation to validate their file or upload any last minute revisions.  Technicians will be on hand to assist.

Comprehensive guidelines for the preparation and delivery of electronic presentations have been prepared and authors are asked to familiarize themselves with this document and direct any technical questions to the e-mail address found therein.  The link is found below.

Please note that each of the session rooms will be equipped with the following:

• 1 computer fed from the central server

• 1 large screen

• 1 LCD projector

• 1 podium microphone

• 1 laser pointer

The Speaker Ready Room will be located in Room 523AB and will be open as follows:

July 19: 08:00 - 18:00
July 20-24: 07:00 – 18:00
July 27-29: 07:30- 18:00
