Getting ThereNearest Airport Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (formerly Montréal–Dorval International Airport) is the main Canadian airport East of the Great Lakes, serving Québec, Atlantic Canada as well as Eastern Ontario and Northern New England. Located 20 kilometres from downtown Montréal, with multiple highway accesses, Montréal-Trudeau has recently completed a vast expansion and modernization program. In order to facilitate the selection of local ground transportation from Montreal, please see the following: As Canada’s national passenger rail service, VIA Rail Canada offers inter-city connections along the Ottawa-Montréal, Toronto-Kingston-Montréal and Québec City-Montréal corridors. A free minibus service is available between the VIA station in Dorval and the the Montréal–Trudeau Airport, a distance of about two kilometres. L’AérobusTM, operated by Groupe La Québécoise, provides an efficient connection by motor bus between Montréal–Trudeau airport and downtown Montréal. L’Aérobus stops at the Montréal Central Bus Station located at 505 de Maisonneuve Blvd. E. A minibus service at no additional charge is also available from the Montréal Central Bus Station to several major downtown hotels The leading vehicle rental companies have offices at Montréal-Trudeau located on the ground level of the multi-level parking. Upon exiting the terminal (arrivals level) a dispatcher will help you obtain a taxi or limousine. No reservation is required. All taxi and limousine operators working out of Montréal–Trudeau are required to have a permit and to comply with its terms and conditions. Occasionally, during periods of excessive demand, Aéroports de Montréal may call on outside operators. Delegates will be responsible for making their own ground transfer arrangements to and from Montreal. Please note that ground transportation is at each delegates' own expense.
